Julie Robson

Joining the Training and Enterprise Council (TEC) in 1992, Julie worked on the employer engagement and economic development teams with a focus on key sectors. Julie then specialised in European Funding for the TEC having a local, regional and national role. On transferring to the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) in 2002, Julie worked on the national development of the ESF Co financing model. Moving back to a local role, later in 2002, Julie was the Director of Skills and Workforce Development for Birmingham and Solihull LSC and then went on to become the Regional Skills Director for the West Midlands and then Regional Director.

In April 2010 she became National Executive Director - Central Division, responsible for overseeing skills in the West Midlands, East Midlands and East of England Divisions.

Julie is now the Executive Director North for the Skills Funding Agency, responsible for all outward facing work with the FE sector, stakeholders and partners from the Midlands to the North of England.

Julie is also the Senior Information Risk Owner for the Skills Funding Agency and therefore has the responsibility of managing information risk within the organisation.
