Sally Stewart
After graduating with a degree in Organisational Analysis and Industrial Relations, Sally worked in Human Resources within the Foundry and Engineering sectors for a number of years.
In 1986 she moved to the Midlands and joined Mercury Communications where she was responsible for HR services across Central England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. In 1996 she moved to the Environment Agency as Regional HR Manager for the Midlands and then from 2000 until 2005 she worked as a self employed consultant / interim manager. During this period she had assignments with the Adult Learning Inspectorate and Oxford College of Further Education.
Sally joined the Learning and Skills Council as National HR Director in June 2005 and was appointed Executive Director of HR and Facilities in the Skills Funding Agency in April 2010. She is responsible for the provision of HR services, and Estate Management to the Skills Funding Agency and also, under a shared services arrangement, the Young People’s Learning Agency.
