Transparency in government
The Government have announced a transparency agenda, which requires all public bodies to be open with the information they hold, and make this information available to the public. As part of this, we are also committed to providing the public with information on our performance and productivity, and releasing our data to encourage better value for money in public spending.
In addition to the data we publish, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has made information available for public scrutiny on a wide variety of key areas. This data can be accessed via the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills website and data.gov.uk.
