We want to ensure that you provide sufficient and clear information to us so that your application can be given appropriate consideration. In preparation for the application process it is essential that you review the following guidance prior to commencing an application in order to ensure you have all the information to make a successful application.

Job search and account registration

All our current vacancies can be viewed on the Skills Funding Agency iRecruitment pages.

Before making an application for a vacancy you will be required to register an account on iRecruitment. Once you have registered an account you will be able to log in to your own account which will enable you to:

  • Search vacancies
  • Apply for a vacancy
  • Upload your Cover Letter and CV online
  • Subscribe to job alerts
  • Check the progress of your application/s.

CV preparation

As part of the Skills Funding Agency application process candidates are asked to submit a Cover Letter and CV (uploaded as one document). It is essential that you tailor your CV to promote your suitability for any particular application. This should clearly evidence:

• Your knowledge/understanding of the sector
• The skills that you bring to the role
• Experience against the role profile and the person specification.

Aim to limit your CV to three pages or less.

Essential candidate information

Please note the file name of your CV must be appropriately labelled to indicate which vacancy it relates to (e.g. "IRC3112 Sam Smith CV").

The registration process will take approximately 10 minutes. Please note you will be required to submit your CV during the registration process so have your CV relevant to the role ready to upload.
