Contract administration

The Contract Administration team provide a Procurement and Contracting Service that enables effective account management and value for money for the Skills Funding Agency.

Our key responsibilities are to:

Put in place, and maintain Learning Provider Contracts, in accordance with the Agency’s Procurement, Commissioning and Account Management arrangements.

Provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues (College and Provider Services and others as required) on all issues related to the administration of contracts.

Maintain the Agency’s National Contract Register, enabling colleagues to access complete information about a given provider using the Single Provider view facility.

Support the Agency’s overall financial control arrangements by independently reporting to Senior Account Directors and Senior Management, learning provider contracts giving cause for concern.

Review and authorise that learning providers are paid the appropriate amounts, by administration of the Payment Transfer System within the nine provider portfolio’s.

Authorisation of payments to learning providers who are delivering NFF contracts.

Provide data and information in support of the Agency’s claims for European Social Funding in the nine regions.

Support the maintenance and ongoing development of systems Contract Management processes e.g. AMPS, CMA, PIMS and SAMS.
